Around 1895, where you can now sleep, Utrecht's first tailor-made clothing for men and children was established under the name: Magazijn “De Dom”. The Hunfeld is named after one of the then owners: Grove & Hunfeld.
We took this piece of history with us during the renovation and furnishing of The Hunfeld. A cool and hip hotel with a nod to our favorites from back then.

The hotel has a rich history and is located in a beautiful seventeenth-century building. In 1858 an eyelid hospital was established here, where the famous Utrecht professor Francis Cornelis Donders was director until 1883.
