4. Railway Museum
For us, this is one of the best museums to visit with the kids. It's much more than looking at old trains. For example, you can take a time machine back to an English mining village in 1839 and there are daily performances in the steam theater about the Orient Express. A great experience for young and old.

5. Centraal Museum
What was once a monastery now houses one of the most beautiful museums in Utrecht. It is a place with special art collections that are also very varied: you will find the Dick Bruna collection, The Rietveld Schröder Archive, the Van Baaren collection and much more. The museum also organizes all kinds of fun activities, such as taking a look in the kitchen of an archaeologist or a dance workshop for toddlers and preschoolers. When visiting Utrecht, you should definitely not miss this museum.

6. Rietveld Schröder House
Utrecht is the location of this architectural masterpiece by the Utrecht architect and designer Gerrit Rietveld (1888-1964). It is a unique building that has no equal. Rietveld designed the house in 1924 for the idiosyncratic Truus Schröder. The special thing is that almost everything is still in original condition. So definitely book one of the organized tours to admire this special house.
